FROM THE FILMMAKER
I am proud to have worked with animal advocates and organizations across the country to hold over 50 special screenings in the U.S. in the last 2 years! Organizing that many screenings was no small feat and while it saddens me to hang up my screening hat (for the time being), I am taking a long over-due break and then developing an educational outreach program for Beyond the Myth that will be launched in spring of 2013. At that time I will announce ways that organizations can hold free public screenings in shelters, schools, universities and other municipal settings. Until then, remember, it’s illegal to show the film publicly without permission. Please email us at beyondthemythscreenings@gmail.com if you have more questions.
If you want to hold an event and show Beyond the Myth in your local theater, please go to www.Tugg.com and make a request. It’s easy and most theaters will allow you to set up tables with information and sell merchandise for fundraising. This is a fun way to get your community involved and enjoy a night at the movies with fellow advocates.
